São Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar has openly stated his interest in bringing AC Milan playmaker Kaká back to Brazil by announcing that the 32-year-old will only not return to his former club if he doesn’t wish to.

The Milan player started his career with Tricolor before moving to Europe and enjoying incredible success.

However, he has been linked with a move away from the San Siro since the end of the season and Brazilian side São Paulo are definitely interested in signing the legendary figure.

President Aidar was quoted by ESPN Brasil as welcoming Kaká back to the club, Goal.com reported the news.

Aidar said: “I say this in an official capacity: Kaka will only not return to São Paulo if he does not want to.

“But at the same time, we will only begin any conversation from the moment he shows an interest in returning.”

If Kaká is looking to leave Europe and return home a perfect opportunity may have arisen with his former club. Although, with the World Cup just about to start any announcement isn’t likely to take place until at least a months time.
