Brazil striker Fred believes the national team can’t deceive people and pretend they are 100 per cent going into the World Cup.

The Fluminense forward was quoted by Goal.com when he spoke to the press about the upcoming opener against Croatia.

He feels Brazil will evolve as the tournament progresses, he said: "We cannot deceive people and say that we are at 100 per cent.

“We are fine but we must evolve before our debut and then continue to improve throughout the competition."

Fred went on to comment on the preparation Luiz Felipe Scolari’s team went through in Teresopolis.

He feels they have corrected the errors that they had at the start of the two week training camp.

Fred added: "They were two very good weeks for us because there were some errors and it is good that they happened because we have time to correct them.”
