Brazil legend Pele picks six other countries as potential World Cup winners
Brazil's all-time leading goalscorer, Pele, has singled out the teams he thinks are most likely to spoil his country's home World Cup this summer, with few surprises amongst his selections.
The man who lifted the most famous trophy in football three times in his illustrious career, told the Times of India: "Germany can do it this time. They have been waiting for too many years for their fourth crown."
"They have a strong side and their footballers have come back from injuries at the right moment, just before the cup."
"Argentina can win it if they play well defensively. The trio of Messi, Aguero and Higuain should score lots of goals."
"Uruguay in South America are always a threat and they proved it by winning the Copa America in 2011."
"Italy always plays well in a World Cup. Spain can defend their crown while Cristiano Ronaldo is in the form of his life. I'm so happy for him."
