Reports in the British and Spanish media are linking Brazilian star Ramires with a summer move to European champions Real Madrid, especially if the Blues can push through the signing of Barcelona and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Real manager Carlo Ancelotti brought Ramires to Stamford Bridge from Benfica when he was in charge, and wants the player in his squad to build on last season’s continental success.

Both Marca and the Daily Mail have suggested that Ancelotti will move for Ramires ahead of Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal of Juventus, who are both thought to be unreasonably priced for what they offer.

In his time at Chelsea, Ramires has helped the club to win the Champions League in 2012, the Europe League the following season and the FA Cup.
