Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos is refusing to get too excited by links with Barcelona.
The Brazil international’s place at PS-G is reportedly under threat from the arrival of Chelsea’s David luiz and Marquinhos is seemingly open to a move away from France, if Barcelona make a bid.
“Barcelona are a great team. I’m going to wait and see what PS-G will decide,” he told TV3.
“This interest proves to me that I’ve made some good performances, but I have yet to prove many things.”
Marquinhos, who was signed from Roma for €31.4 million in July 2013, has made 21 appearances for PS-G this season, scoring two goals.
