Ronaldo expects FIFA World Cup goal scoring record to be broken
Legendary Brazil international Ronaldo expects his FIFA World Cup goal scoring record to be beaten.
Germany’s Miroslav Klose is just one goal behind Ronaldo’s total of 15 and the 37 year-old accepts that the Lazio forward could surpass him at this month’s tournament.
“Klose is 35 years old, he could have already stopped playing!” he joked, as reported by Football Italia.
“All joking aside, I am proud of my career and of the records I set. But I know that one day they will be broken.”
