Former Internazionale forward Adriano has hailed Massimo Moratti, the former Nerazzurri president, and praised Italy coach Cesare Prandelli.

The Brazilian forward spoke to Sky Sports Italia about his time in Italy and admits the country is his second home.

The 32-year-old was quoted by Forza Italian Football on his time at Inter and with Parma, he said: “Italy is my second home, I’ve always said this. Milan is my second city behind my hometown Rio de Janeiro.

“I was sad when he (Moratti) sold the company. He’s a major image for the club, I haven’t heard from him much.

“I hope to see him again soon, I am grateful to him. He brought me here and gave me a chance. He’s like a second father to me.”

Adriano concluded by praising the Italy manager and wished him all the best during the World Cup.

The former Inter man said: “He taught me everything, he helped me a lot at Parma as a player and as a man. I wish him all the best during the World Cup.”
