The Inter Milan midfielder has been talking to the Brazilian media about his inclusion in the World Cup squad.
Hernanes said that his selection might have had something to do with his ability to play in a number of positions, but he added that a number of his teammates also offer other options.
“This is an issue that everyone knows. I started as a central midfielder and then played further forward. It’s something that has to do with learning to play multiple positions.
“And here we have several players who can play in other positions, that are also versatile. It’s not just me.”
