Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos insists he is focused on succeeding with Brazil at the 2014 Toulon Tournament
Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has insisted that he is focused on succeeding with Brazil at the 2014 Toulon Tournament.
The 20 year-old has found himself strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days, following the arrival at PS-G of David Luiz from Chelsea.
Marquinhos admits he is flattered by Barça’s interest, but is determined to solely concentrate on playing for Brazil until the Toulon Tournament is over.
“I’m very focused on this championship. It’s very important to me, to wear the Brazil shirt,” he said, as reported by Football Espana.
“This group is strong and we want to be champions.
“I always want to evolve and grow but I need to talk to my agent and PS-G about my future.
“I’m pleased Barça think of me. It proves I’m doing my job on the pitch.”
