Sao Paulo grabbed a dramatic late equaliser at Atletico Paranaense to keep up pace with the leaders in Serie A in a game which saw two goals in the last two minutes.

Hosts Paranaense led twice; first through Renato, whose first half opener was cancelled out by evergreen goalkeeping veteran Rogerio Ceni’s 76th minute penalty.

Three points looked to be on the way for Mineiro when Cleo bagged but former Brazil striker Luis Fabiano managed to salvage a point for Tricolor with a goal despite protestations of a hnad ball from the home team.

The result leaves Paranaense and Sao Paulo on ten and thirteen points respectively and in the weekend’s final games before a mid-season recess, they play Figueirense and Atletico Mineiro.
