Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez is hopeful that Spain can win the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The 67 year-old, who saw his side win ‘La Décima’ on Saturday, believes La Furia Roja will find it tough to win a third consecutive major tournament, but is confident Head Coach Vicente del Bosque can find the right blend between youth and experience in his squad.

“I think Spain have a very good team but winning is always difficult,” he said, as reported by Football Espana.

“We have won two consecutive European Championships and winning two World Cups will be very difficult.

“I think we have good players and the youngsters have been incorporated very well.

“I want Spain to win the World Cup. What Presidents don’t want Spain to win? The one at Tottenham…”
