Internazionale manager Walter Mazzarri is a fan of Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo
Luiz Gustavo will be hoping to help Brazil win the World Cup over the next month and a half and an impressive campaign may secure him another summer move.
The defensive midfielder only signed for Wolfsburg last summer but has recently been linked with a move to Internazionale.
Inter president Erik Thohir revealed that current Nerazzurri manager Walter Mazzarri is a fan of the Brazilian midfielder.
Howevr, Thohir was quick to point out that everything depends on Wolfsburg when speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sky Sports quoted the Inter president, he said: "Mazzarri likes Eric Lamela and Luiz Gustavo, but everything will depend on the situation of the market.
"Mazzarri believes in our plan and we must sit around a table to talk about his renewal.
"I want the coach to work mostly with young players, the (average) age of players must be around 26 and a half years old. Football now is different to 15 years ago."
Luiz Gustavo is currently 26, and though he will be 27 in July, it seems that Inter Milan are interested in securing his services.
For the time being, though, the former Bayern Munich midfielder will be concentrating on helping his country this summer.
