The Brazil coach has said that he is only concerned with events inside the team’s training base.

He refuses to be drawn into the debate regarding how the World Cup has been organised.

In an interview with O Estado de S. Paulo, Scolari said that he will keep his political opinions private until after the tournament.

“The World Cup inside the camp is well managed. The World Cup outside the camp is not our business.

“You will tell me: ‘Oh Big Phil! Are you not a citizen?"

“I am a citizen yes, only I have to think that if I can express myself it will be after the World Cup, when I quit my commitments, I can say what I liked or disliked. And on October 5 [election day] I can express this at the ballot box."
