Thiago Silva has revealed his admiration for Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola and admitted he would love to work with the Spanish manager one day.

The Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain captain was speaking on Sky programme Lords of Football about Guardiola.

Silva feels the former Barcelona manager has a great game style and would relish the chance to work with him one day.

Forza Italian Football quoted the 29-year-old, he said: “At this current time, someone I’d love to work with is Guardiola.

“He has a great game style. A game I love so much and it speaks volumes to me.

“He also speaks well of me and I return the favour during many interviews.

‘’Pep has won a lot of trophies and he’s still very young.”

Silva went on to admit that he would love Guardiola to come to PSG but that isn’t a knock on the job Laurent Blanc had achieved.

The Brazilian has been impressed with Blanc and feels he has done a better job than Carlo Ancelotti.

Silva said on Guardiola: “I’d love for him to come to PSG so I could work with him but currently Laurent Blanc is doing very well.

“I believe Blanc has done better than Ancelotti did last year as he found the right style of play.”
