Seleção will be ready to face any team that awaits them in the World Cup according to superstar Neymar.

The Barcelona man has also praised Spain while discussing the tournament, which is less than a month away. He believes Spain are the “best prepared side to defend their crown” but first chose to discuss that Brazil will need to start well like they did in the Confederations Cup.

The 21-year-old was speaking to the Times of India and said: “We need to start it well, just like we did in the Confederations Cup. You need to be at your best rhythm from the first whistle.”

Goal.com quoted the former Santos star and he admitted Brazil will be ready to face whoever comes up against them, including Spain if that is who Seleção will meet in the knock-out stages.

“These days, there is nothing unknown about your opponents,” Neymar explained.

“We know about them, they know about us. When you are trying to be the best, you cannot choose your opponent, can you? You have to play at the best of your abilities against each and every team. Only then you can be the best.

“Spain are the defending champions and they have won two European championships as well. Needless to say, they will be the best-prepared side to defend their crown. But we are ready to realise our dream too.”
