The Barcelona defender has said that the country must move on from recent disorganisation ahead of the World Cup.

Speaking at an event in São Paulo, the Brazilian international was optimistic that the South American nation could learn from the issues that it has encountered when preparing for the tournament.

UOL.com reports that Alves said: “We would [prefer to] have had everything done for a while, but we cannot dwell on that. If we did, we could not do a mega event like the World Cup. What’s done is done. We want these things to serve as lessons. The improvements will come for a country if you make mistakes."
