Scolari: World Cup is not the appropriate moment for protests
The Brazil coach believes that the tournament is not the right time for people to voice feelings of dissatisfaction with the government.
Scolari believes that his compatriots should wait until the presidential elections in October to make their feelings clear.
In an interview with Época, he said: "In Brazil, we have rights - we have a full democracy within Brazil and we speak out. The World Cup would not be the ideal or appropriate moment [for political protest]. We invite outsiders to visit us and we could show a different situation. On election day, with our votes, we have to show what we want."
