Ronaldinho hopes Barcelona win La Liga and also sees Neymar making history with the Catalan club
Ronaldinho is confident Neymar can make history with his old club Barcelona and hopes they can win the La Liga title on Saturday.
The Catalan club host Atlético Madrid in an epic final day title decider and in an interview with Cadena COPE, the Brazilian discussed Lionel Messi as well as where the La Liga title will go.
Inside Spanish Football published the interview, Ronaldinho firstly said on Neymar: “I think it’s normal to have an adaptation period. He started well, but has much more to play and many more joys to give the fans in the future.
“He is one of the players who will be the future of Brazilian football. I hope he can conquer everything because Barca is the world’s biggest club and I think he can make history within the club.”
The 34-year-old turned his attention to the final day decider at the Camp Nou.
Ronaldinho revealed everyone in Brazil will be watching and he also admitted for the sake of football, Messi must stay at Barcelona.
“All of Brazil is watching to see what happens on Saturday,” the Brazilian added. “I am the fan who thinks positively. I hope Barca win this time.
“Certainly, I think Messi is the best player in the world. He’s the most fundamental player for Barcelona to keep being the Barcelona they were before.
“I can’t see Messi in any other club than Barcelona, but as a friend, I want to see him happy. But for the sake of football, I want to see him at Barcelona.”
