Radamel Falcao selected in provisional Colombia squad
Monaco forward Radamel Falcao has been named in Colombia’s 30 man provisional squad for this summer’s World Cup.
The 28 year-old has not played since injuring his anterior cruciate ligament in January and was not expected to recover in time for the tournament.
Falcao’s inclusion will be a big boost to Colombia head coach José Pékerman, who has selected 42 year-old goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon and River Plate youngster Éder Álvarez Balanta.
