Robinho’s agent: A return to Santos would be my clients first choice

Could Robinho return? - Action Images

Santos would be Robinho’s first choice should the Brazilian decide to leave AC Milan but the playmaker also has interest from various clubs all over the world according to Marisa Ramos.

Robinho’s agent, Ramos, was speaking to Milannews.it and admitted the Rossoneri will assess the 30-year-olds situation in the summer.

“Robinho has a contract until 2016,” Ramos is quoted by Football Italia.

“Contracts are made to be broken? Certainly, but agreements can also be found between the two parties. Milan have the opportunity anyhow to evaluate his season.

“A return to Brazil? This is spoken about a lot and I do not understand why. Robinho has interest from all over the world, and yet we always talk about Brazil.”

The former Manchester City player is often linked with a return to Brazil due to his affection for old club Santos.

The Milan attacker always talks about his former club with admiration and Ramos conceded that a return to Peixe would be the 30-year-old first choice move.

The player’s representative explained: “Robinho loves Santos, but first and foremost he is a professional.

“Had he simply been a fan then he would never have left Santos, but there are market conditions that lead to other roads.

“It is clear that the affection remains, and Santos would be the first choice, but you must always consider where there are the conditions.”
