PSG and Brazil captain Thiago Silva has given is blessing to a move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, who is widely expected to be a subject of a summer bid from the French champions after impressing greatly whilst in Italy.
Silva told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport: “Pogba is a great player with a great future. He has the personality, mentality and certain quality to settle at the top, anywhere.”
“It’s not for me to say whether there should be less investment, but the president told us that it (Financial Fair Play rules) will not change anything. PSG is a growing club.”
On a possible move for teammate Alex to Thiago’s former club AC Milan, the defender added: “I recommend that he go to Milan. And I would be happy to have another friend in a big club. With Clarence Seedorf, they can return to the Champions League.”
