The 1994 World Cup winner has told SporTV that he doesn’t believe that the Barcelona striker is ready to have a big impact in Brazil this summer.
Rocha appealed for patience and support for Neymar, and said that talented young players rarely perform to the best of their ability when playing in a World Cup for the first time.
“In my opinion, he is not prepared to be this great player who we expect. We cannot put this weight on Neymar. The group has to be around him,” said Rocha.
