Brazil international Henrique is delighted to have won his first trophy with Napoli.

The Partenopei defeated Fiorentina 3-1 on Saturday to lift the Coppa Italia for the second time in three seasons.

Henrique, who played the full 90 minutes, admitted Napoli were made to work for their victory, but hopes it will be the first of many finals he wins with the club.

“I am so happy with this first trophy. I was sure I’d win silverware with Napoli, because this is a really strong team,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We suffered under Fiorentina pressure, but were smart to take the winning goal at the right moment.

“Everyone here is a first choice, the important thing is to win the games together.”

Henrique was signed by Napoli from Palmeiras in January. The 27 year-old has quickly established himself in Italy and is seemingly now Head Coach Rafael Benítez’s first choice right full-back.
