Internazionale Head Coach Walter Mazzarri has admitted the loss of defender Jonathan affected his tactical decisions for Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Napoli.

Speaking after the game, the 52 year-old intimated that he would have gone with a back four and pushed Jonathan, who was unavailable through injury, into midfield.

"If [Marek] Hamšík would’ve played we were going to put four at the back, so when he came on we had to adjust the midfield," he told Sky Sport Italia. "It’s not the kind of football I like, though.

"We were also missing Jonathan, so with him we could’ve pushed Danilo D’Ambrosio into a full-back role."
