Goalkeeper Artur Moraes hopes that securing a trio of trophies this season will make up for a disappointing 2012-13 campaign.
The Águias lost the Europa League final to Chelsea, finished just a point behind winners Porto in the Primeira Liga and were defeated 2-1 by Vitória de Guimarães in the final of the Taça de Portugal.
This season, they have bounced back by winning the Primiera Liga, while they are in the Taça de Portugal final are hold a 2-1 first leg lead over Juventus in their Europa League semi-final.
“It’s not every team who can reach three finals in a single season,” Artur told Sky Sport Italia. “We feel more confident in our capabilities now and are eager to make up for that cruel end to the campaign.”
