Sao Paulo suffer shock loss in Copa do Brasil against CRBAdemilson's goal has given them hope for the second leg
Sao Paulo, who made such an impressive start to the Brazilian league season last weekend, suffered a shock 2-1 loss in the Copa do Brasil to leave their ambitions in the competition hanging in the balance.
Serie C side CRB, who hail from the Alagoas city of Maceio, will defend their lead in next week's second leg against the domestic giants, but have given themselves a chance of progression through goals from Tozim and Diego Rosa; Sao Paulo's response was a fine strike by Ademilson.
The young forward has started 2014 strongly and will shoulder a lot of his club's responsibility on the pitch in the coming months; the Brazil under-20 international scored last week as well.
Going out of the Copa at this stage would be unthinkable for Sao Paulo who, with no continental competition to look forward to, are seen as dark horses to win the national league title as well.
A chance at redemption comes in the form of a second leg against CRB, which will take place on May 8th.
