Willian has echoed the sentiments of team mate Ramires about the need to concentrate on the Premier League first before casting their minds to the Champions League next week.

Chelsea and Atlético Madrid drew 0-0 yesterday in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

However, the Brazilian duo both insisted that the Blues focus was on Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.

Lancenet.com quoted Willian, who said: “We have many important games ahead, we have to go step by step.

“A win against Liverpool will show our strength as it would be in an away game against a team that have a fantastic attack, and we will be missing players.”

Sky Sports reported quotes from Willian and he said once the Liverpool clash is over, then they can think about national team call-ups and the Champions League.

The playmaker added: “We can focus on the second (leg) against Atletico and on the Brazilian national team call-ups (after the Liverpool match).

“We have to prioritise each at a time.”
