Botafogo captain Jefferson has praised former team mate Clarence Seedorf and talked about how he revolutionised the club.
The goalkeeper spoke recently to Radio Globo and talked about how the Dutchman changed so much during his spell at the Rio de Janeiro club.
Lancenet.com quoted the current captain, he said of Seedorf: “Our relationship has always been very professional.
“Seedorf arrived here at Botafogo and revolutionised us with his attitude and professionalism. The motivation in him at times was very strong.
“He sometimes tried to change things too fast. I think in three or four months he tried to change things that would last maybe years.”
Despite Seedorf trying to implement changes quickly, his impact at Botafogo was certainly a positive according to Jefferson.
He revealed some of the changes he made, adding: “Seedorf certainly added a lot to the Botafogo, Botafogo has grown with his arrival.
“Seedorf has changed our way of getting to the locker room, we could not have music, the chair had to be the way he thought it had to be, things like that he wanted to change.”
After struggling since his departure, it is no surprise to hear how much Seedorf changed during his time at Botafogo.
