Internazionale defender Juan Jesus has admitted he is disappointed not to have received an apology from Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.

The Bologna midfielder was involved in a collision with Juan that caused him to suffer knee ligament damage and ended his season.

Writing on social media, Juan noted that his recovery is going well and thanked the Inter fans for their support, but would have welcomed some acknowledgement from Lazaros.

“It’s already been three weeks,” said Juan, as reported by Football Italia. “Thanks to God I am feeling better every day that passes.

“But I’m not happy that I haven’t even received an apology from the player who injured me. Neither have I heard from the club for whom he plays.

“But that’s what football’s like. I can’t expect that people will be like I am.

“I thank all my teammates and the fans for supporting me during this period. I will come back stronger than before.”
