Brazilian-born striker Cacau scored against Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga on Sunday as his side eased their relegation fears and dented their opponents' Champions League target into the bargain.
Cacau, 33, bagged the second in a 3-1 win, the other goals coming courtesy of his attacking partner Martin Harnik as Stuttgart moved four points clear of Hamburg, who occupy the relegation play-off position.
Cacau has been at the club since 2003 and in his time with the Germans haas won the Bundesliga in 2007 and represented adopted country Germany on 23 occasions, scoring six international goals. In 2010, he was part of the German side to finish third in the World Cup in South Africa.
