Midfielder Nilton has insisted that he is only focused on Cruzeiro and not a move to Europe.

The 26 year-old caught the eye as a Raposa won the 2013 Brasileirão, with the likes of Internazionale and Liverpool reportedly interested in signing him.

Nilton admits it is nice to be followed by big European clubs, but believes he has unfinished business with Cruzeiro and is hoping for more success before thinking about a move elsewhere.

“This has been going on since last year, with teams from Spain, Italy and France added,” he told Globo Esporte.

“It’s nice to get recognition, but my agent Vagner Ribeiro has told me that there will be speculation and nothing has come as yet.

“When it does, I’ll let you know.

“I have a year-and-a-half on my contract. I don’t hide that I dream of playing in Europe, but my dream at the moment is here at Cruzeiro. I want to win the Libertadores and the Brazilian league again.”
