Chapecoense drew 0-0 at home against Coritiba to secure their first ever point in the top flight of Brazilian football.

The star man was undoubtedly Chapecoense goalkeeper Danilo who made a string of fine saves.

After the game, the 28-year-old expressed his satisfaction with the result.

“We didn’t score but we all knew that that would be difficult. It was a nervous accoasion for everybody: the fans, for us players. But the result was a good one and I think 0-0 was fair,” he said in an interview with Super Condá radio.

“I hope that it will be the first point of many. We have to get our heads up and prepare well for each game.”
