Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has insisted he is not bothered by a tweet Sandro made regarding his non-selection for Saturday’s 3-1 win against Fulham.

The Brazil international confirmed via Twitter that he was not injured for the match and had simply been overlooked.

Speaking after the game, Sherwood was fairly dismissive of the incident and believes Sandro is entitled to tweet what he likes.

“I don’t care about the tweet,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports. ”I don’t go on Twitter. He can tweet what he wants.

“At the end of the day you always get an honest opinion from me and he’s right what he’s tweeting – he’s not telling any lies.

“He’s not injured, and he’s fit to play, but he’s not selected because he’s not up to it at the moment ahead of other people.

“I really don’t have a problem with him. He’s a good lad. I don’t have any problem with anything he’s got to say. He’s not being disrespectful to me, I don’t think.”
