Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro declared himself fit for the Lilywhites London derby against Fulham at White Hart Lane this afternoon but controversially has been completely left out of the squad by boss Tim Sherwood.

This morning fan favourite Sandro tweeted: “Good morning Guys, just to let you know that I’m not injured ! Hope that we can win the game today.”

That tweet sparked rumours and celebration, with many fans believing he would therefore be in the squad, however, current manager Sherwood has decided to leave the Brazilian out of the squad.

It was only last month the defensive midfielder backed Sherwood after his outburst following the Chelsea thrashing but it appears the man in charge doesn’t trust Sandro anymore.

It seems likely now, that Sandro’s tweet was probably after finding out he wasn’t in the squad and will only leave Tottenham fans even more frustrated with the current boss.

Although the former Internacional player hasn’t been in the best of form this season, his personality and leadership is viewed by many as something lacking in the current Tottenham team.
