Defender Dodô is hoping Roma can secure a club record points total this season.

The Giallorossi are currently 2nd in Serie A on 79 points, but remain eight adrift of leaders Juventus.

With just five games to go, it is unlikely that they will be able to catch the Bianconeri, but there is still an opportunity for them to make history, with a run of 12 consecutive victories.

“There are five games to go and now it’s up to us to make history,” he told Roma Channel. “We got 10 consecutive victories at the start and now we can get 12, plus the club record for points. Then we’ll see what Juventus do.”

Dodô, who was signed from Corinthians in July 2012, has made 15 appearances this season.
