Marco Polo del Nero elected president of CBF
The Figueirense president will succeed José Maria Marin from 2015 onwards.
On Wednesday, Del Nero was elected as the new CBF president after a vote among presidents of the 20 Série A clubs and of the 27 state football federations.
The new vice-presidents were also defined as José Maria Marin, Fernando José Sarney, Gustavo Dantas Feijó, Delfim Pádua Peixoto and Marcos Antônio Vicente.
Del Nero was the only candidate and received 44 of the 47 votes cast.
