Argentina head coach Alejandro Sabella has again refused to discuss Carlos Tevez’s chances of being selected for the World Cup.

The former Corinthians forward has scored 18 goals in 30 appearances for Juventus this season, but was last called up by Argentina in 2011.

Sabella, when pushed on the subject, admitted he is understands why people want Tevez in the team, but neglected to confirm whether the 30 year-old is in his thoughts.

“Everyone’s entitled to their opinion,” he told FIFA.com. “And like I said before, I read, listen and watch and then I draw my own conclusions.

“I don’t like talking about the players who aren’t in the squad. I think it’s better for everyone that way. That goes for Tevez and for anyone else, though I understand why they’re talking about him more than others.”
