Santos striker Leandro Damiao has called on his teammates to turn around their Paulista finals predicament when they face Ituano in the second leg for the right to be crowned state champions in Sunday’s showdown. Santos lost the opening game 1-0 in midweek and Damiao says he has even pictured himself scoring the crucial goal to win the upcoming game.

“You like to dream. So in practice I have dedicated more. Let’s focus and use their mistakes. I’m happy to be in the final . We have a strong group and it does not matter who scores the goals, we have to get focused to get the title.”

Santos will be looking for a boost ahead of the Brasileiro, which starts next weekend, and need their much talked about attacking arsenal of Damiao, Geuvanio and Gabriel to click in order to beat surprise finalists Ituano.
