Young Internazionale defender Juan Jesus admits it is “boring” being injured and has revealed his dream of captaining the San Siro side in the future.

The 22-year-old is currently out of action after suffering medial collateral ligament damage in his right knee so made time to do a Twitter Q&A recently.

Football Italia quoted the views of the Brazilian defender and he started off by revealing his frustration at sitting on the sidelines.

Juan Jesus said: “This was my first serious injury. I hope to recover as quickly as possible.

“It’s certainly boring not being able to play. I already had this routine of training, retreat, game. It will pass. I am treating it as an experience.”

The former Internacional defender went on to discuss the passionate Nerazzurri fans and reveal where he sees himself in five years time.

Juan Jesus said: “The thing that struck me most about the Inter fans is their support, as they are truly passionate about the team.

“Would I like to become Inter captain? Of course, but it’s not just up to me. My dream is to take Inter as far as possible.

“Where do I see myself in five years? As captain of Inter. I’d certainly have a lot more experience at that point.”
