Former Brazil international Leonardo is hoping to return to management next season with a club in Europe.
The 44 year-old, who was last employed as a sporting director by Paris Saint-Germain, has previously coached Internazionale and Milan.
“My idea is to make a return as a coach,” Leonardo told FcInterNews.it. “It could even be in time for next season.
“I will stay in Europe, that’s the plan. I think that with the experience I now have I have discovered my ideal way of wanting to work.
“After being director of football at PSG, I needed a bit of time to organise myself but now I am ready to return.
“I left Milan because there were problems with my relationships with certain people at the club.
“It had nothing to do with my professional life and my results with Milan reflected that.”
