Kaká’s future needs to be decided insists former Italian national team footballer Alessio Tacchinardi after he gave his views on the Brazilian superstar to Sky Sports Italia.

In recent weeks speculation has intensified over the 31-year-old future with rumours that Orlando City are interested in securing his services, although they can’t compete in the MLS until 2015.

There is also a clause in Kaká’s contract that allows him to leave AC Milan should they fail to qualify for the Champions League – something that is certain after a turbulent season.

Football Italia quoted Tacchinardi as he dicussed the future of the Brazilian playmaker, adding: “Regarding Kaká, we need to know whether he wants to be a part of the project at Milan or go to the United States.”

This particular type of comment is sure to anger Kaká because he recently asked for all questions and discussions over his future to end stopped until the summer.

Milan have also picked up in form recently and have won their last three matches to give themselves an outside chance of qualifying for the Europa League.

Kaká will hope matters off the pitch, don’t start to affect his performances on them as he strives to turn this disastrous season around.
