England midfielder Frank Lampard has praised two of Chelsea ’s dimutive stars and backed them to help the club progress to the Champions League semi-finals.

The Blues trail PSG 3-1 following the first leg in Paris last week but England international Lampard lavished praise on Brazilian Oscar and Belgium winger Eden Hazard.

Lampard told the Daily Star: “They’re great lads. Both of them are very unassuming and both are performing brilliantly.

“They are not the sort to let their heads go into the clouds, like we have seen a lot of lesser talents do.”

The pair have been linked with big money moves away from Stamford Bridge recently and as Lampard puts the duo in the top bracket of current footballers in the world it is hard not to see why.

He added: “These two are top talents with a top attitude and this season Eden has put himself into the top bracket of world football.

“But I don’t leave Oscar out of that group either after what he did last season having just arrived from Brazil and what he’s doing again this season.

“I’d put the pair of them in that top bracket of player already – and they can take it as far as they want.”

Lampard will hope Oscar and Hazard can help Chelsea progress past PSG and target another Champions League title.
