It was another busy weekend for Brazilian players thorughout Europe, with one Selecao mainstay at the forefront of his team’s performance.

Portugal: Vitoria’s 3-0 victory against Nacional included a brace from Rafael Martins, who moves on to 14 goals for the season; Derley scored the winner for Maritimo against Arouca; and Marcos Paulo netted a consolation for Academica in a 3-1 reverse against Porto.

Russia: An impressive 6-2 win for Zenit in the top division included a penalty double from Brazil striker Hulk. He bagged from the spot in the 19th and 35th minutes of his side’s triumph.

Ukraine: Giuliano scored the opener in Dnipro’s 2-0 away win at Tavriya, whilst Shakhtar won 3-0 against Karpaty Lviv, Adriano getting the third after a double from Brazil-born Croatia striker Eduardo.
