The Brazilian midfielder inspired the Blues to a comfortable victory over Stoke at the weekend, and the England international was full of praise for his team-mate.
Chelsea recorded a 3-0 win over the Potters to move back to the top of the table with Willian capping off a fine all-round performance with an excellent strike from the edge of the box.
“I thought Willian was brilliant, the goal he scored was the epitome of what he’s all about. He always tracks back and puts in a shift as well,” Lampard said of the 25-year-old.
Lampard also hailed his side’s determination and insists his side are now fully focussed on turning the PSG tie around.
“To win the Premier League we need to win all of our games. There was good determination for the lads and now we must get ourselves ready for Tuesday against Paris St-Germain,” he added.
