Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Porto midfielder Fernando, according to reports.
The Telegraph claims that talks have been held between club officials over a double deal involving defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Porto are reported to value Fernando at £12.4 million – a fee Manchester City are willing to match – while Mangala would cost around £29 million.
Fernando, who renewed his contract in February, was believed to be close to joining City in January.
