Rodrigo Taddei was pleased to end his long standing home goal drought with a strike in Roma’s 4-2 win against Parma on Wednesday.

The 34 year-old last scored at the Stadio Olimpico in 2009 and was delighted that his family were in the arena to share the moment.

“It was a long time ago and it was tough to score today,” he said, as reported by Football Italia. “I am particularly happy as my family was in the stadium.

“As soon as the ball went in, I remembered a similar goal I scored against Lazio.”
