Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has hinted that he has a different opinion to Barcelona coach Tata Martino regarding the best way to utilise Neymar’s abilities.

The 22 year-old star has been deployed in several roles by Martino in his first year in Spain, playing as he has wide left, wide right and in more than one position through the middle of the team’s attacking formation.

However Scolari, who tends to play Neymar solely in a ‘free central’ type of position, told TV3: “He’s a special player and I play him in a different way.”

“In Brazil we think alot differently about his position than they do in Spain.”

Neymar will be the focal point both aesthetically and on the pitch as Brazil bid to win the World Cup on home soil from June onwards this summer.
