Kaká celebrated his 300th appearance in a Rossoneri jersey with a brace yesterday but speculation continues over his future with Orlando City apparently in the driving seat.

The AC Milan trequartista has asked for rumours surrounding his future to be stopped and revealed his current happiness at the San Siro club.

Football Italia quoted Kaká, he said: “Since I first arrived at Milan there have been rumours on my future.

“I am in no hurry and I am very happy here. I ask you (journalists) not to talk about these things any more. I am very happy at Milan and that is my last word on my future.”

The reason behind the Brazilians comments is because one of Orlando City’s primary owners Phil Rawlins tweeted: “We’re ready when you are Ricardo”.

That tweet was in reference to Kaká and came following news that the 31-year-old would be interested in playing in the MLS and after it was revealed that he has a release clause in his contract if Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The immediate news for Rossoneri fans appears good because Orlando City won’t join the MLS until 2015, when Kaká current contract ends, so he appears set to remain a Milan player until then, that is assuming he moves to America once he finally leaves the San Siro club.

But as Kaká alluded too, he’ll now hope to be making headlines for his efforts on the pitch rather than speculation off it.
