Sao Paulo striker Luis Fabiano has called on his side to start again after they were knocked out of the Paulista championship by Penapolense earlier this week. The Brazil forward, the leading scorer in the tournament to date, knows the Tricolor cannot sit and feel sorry for themselves; rather they should concentrate on upcoming Copa do Brasil and the Brasileiro when it kicks off.

“Our fans are not accustomed to failure, they pay to see us win. We have to start again from scratch, work hard and get results to gain the trust of the fans again.”

In terms of confidence, Fabiano stated: “Losing a game like this, it is reset to zero, but we have to try and bring motivation back. Now we have the Brazilian championship and the Copa do Brasil.”

The Paulsta’s top scorer in 2014, Luis Fabiano knows that consistency is the key to Sao Paulo’s suces, as well as his own outside chances of making the World Cup.
