Oscar scored twice at the weekend in Chelsea’s 6-0 thrashing over rivals Arsenal to take his goal tally for the season into double figures and the Brazilian has been talking about his season so far.

The 22-year-old was speaking exclusively to Chelsea TV, with Daily Star quoting the Brazilian.

He explained how difficult it has been playing so many matches of the last few years with little time to rest but what he needs to do to be in top form for the important end of the season.

Oscar said: “It’s not just this season, I’ve played so many games in the last few seasons, plus with the national team we are always playing as well.

“It’s difficult but I enjoy it and I’m fine. We now have the last seven games in the Premier League, as well as the game in the Champions League, so I need to sleep well, have a massage and then I will play well.

“It’s eleven goals for the season and two goals in the game against Arsenal so I’m very happy.”

The Brazilian explained his two strikes against Arsenal and thanked Fernando Torres for his part in his opener.

“For the first goal Nando gave me a beautiful pass and I scored. The second goal, I got the ball and shot, so it was a good goal,” Oscar concluded.
